From our accommodation you can access mountain biking routes, walk the coastal path, and explore numerous footpaths such as the famous Cadair Idris mountain and Craig yr Aderyn. Nearby is one of the most enchanting gentle walks, or bike rides anywhere, the Mawddach Trial, which follows the course of the disused estuary railway from Morfa Mawddach to Dolgellau or Barmouth. Within a short drive away are a number of local attractions, such as Castell y Bere, Talyllyn railway, King Arthur’s Labyrinth, Coed y Brenin Mountain Biking centre, Harlech Castle and Portmeirion. The nearest town of Tywyn is a 10 minute drive away with a newly refurbished cinema, crazy golf, and leisure centre with indoor pool. To the south of Tywyn is the harbour village of Aberdyfi with sandy beaches, sand dunes, quaint little shops and the famous golf links course. In this quiet corner of Snowdonia National Park you’ll find natural beauty whatever time of year you choose to stay at Cae Du Farm.
